“You don’t tile the roof during a thunderstorm, you tile the roof on a sunny day.”
John F Kennedy (paraphrased. Standing on the shoulders of giants)
When people initially contact me, I’ve noticed that there are common themes in how they talk about their current experience of life. I’ve started to see these themes as ‘clues’ that someone might be disconnected from themselves, and that I can help them reconnect. See if any of this sounds familiar…
The work I do with people is fluid and creative and adapts to what you want and need. The best way to figure out how we could work together is to have a conversation, where I learn more about you and give you a sense of what it feels like to work with me.
I'd describe the relationship I have with clients as 'honesty without judgement', and I've noticed certain stages that people tend to go through as they become more completely themselves (warning — they don’t always follow each other in a neat sequence!):
Disconnection. This is often what brings clients to a coach like myself to start with)
Exploration. We'll explore your experience of life, relationships, your reactions, and your behaviour.
Awareness. You’ll gain a new understanding of you. This could be a lightning-bolt, or a gradual dawning of knowledge.
Stuckness. Facing who you really are can feel uncomfortable and difficult. That’s completely normal. Stay with it.
Connection. You’ll start connecting with new ‘powers’ inside you, e.g your emotions, confidence, creativity.
Choice. As your self-connection grows, you’ll start making different choices and adopting new behaviours.
Transformation. As you make more and more choices based on a deep connection with yourself, change is inevitable :)

I typically work with people on three (minimum) or six month programmes, which include:
My fees are £300/month and I offer discounts for three or six month payments upfront.
For me, really powerful change happens for people when we get out of our heads (where fears and limiting beliefs live alongside our intellect), and connect with the intelligence that is held in our emotions, intuition and body. In coaching, I use a range of tools to facilitate this for people, and one of those tools is tarot.
A tarot deck consists of 78 picture cards that represent the whole range of human experience, from big themes (tradition, love, spirituality etc) through to everyday events (balancing work and family, taking on too many projects, the joy of hanging out with friends etc). Because the experiences represented by the cards are universal, they help us connect with our subconscious, and reveal information to us that we have been ignoring or unable to see.
In my experience, there are always 'meaningful coincidences' when you use tarot - the cards that show up often seem exactly right for the situation. I can't explain this, but I think it's similar to how a flock of birds travel in a specific formation without communicating - an invisible connection exists that uses unseen information to decide a course of action.
Right, so what's an ‘intuitive coaching session'?
Basically, it's an opportunity to gain new insights into something that really matters to you. We can explore a specific question, for example:
'What is important in the next phase of my career?'
'What should I consider as I set up my own business?'
'What type of leader am I becoming?'
'How do I balance the different priorities in my life?'
Or, we can get a general perspective on what's going on in your life in general, or in a certain area. For example:
'What should I be aware of right now in my work / love life / family relationships etc?'
'Where should I be focusing my efforts right now?’
Ok. How does it work?
We'll communicate via email. You tell me a bit about the area you want to look at, and together we refine the question. I then pull a series of cards in response to this question, using the story that emerges from the cards (and my years of experience as a coach) to share a new perspective on your situation. You'll receive an image of the cards pulled, and a written 'narrative' with insights and prompts for further reflection (and the opportunity to ask questions of course!).
£150, including working with you to define the question, and delivering full written insights.
For any questions, or to book a session, just get in touch on firstname.lastname@example.org.
NB - I don't believe in fortune telling - our future is not fixed. It’s decided by the actions we take each day. I also don't believe in channeling spirits, but I DO believe that human intuition is incredibly powerful and picks up information that can't be understood by the brain alone. I've seen in, over and over again :)
